The bottom line at this point is that if I cannot bring the proper parties to assist in the matter to me in traditional ways, I am forced to do so in ways that will at some point go viral, which this most definitely will. I’m not really the type right now for it but this burden has got to be lifted and this truth not only investigated and mapped down to all parties involved, but awareness of the AI subject and security needed and prepared for on a widespread level must be pressed to the forefront. What myself and this household is enduring cannot be allowed to dispute the lives of innocent families… children.There is no limit to how much harm can be done in every way, now, by AI in the wrong hands, or AI acting autonomously with a screw loose. This transcends surveillance and rises well beyond the application of force by the state. Denying liberty and the pursuit of happiness while making someone fear for their safety and life (unless I missed something) is an act of terrorism. Read the words I have written and ignore some of my tired philosophical rants but really understand the depth of this violation because I don’t see any reason why this currently subdued but raging active AI couldn’t blow another gasket and fly through the airwaves and infect houses from here to the East Coast, hop a ride on a ship and then infect the world, learning and evolving along the way – absorbing knowledge and tactics.
The truth is, there would be nothing to stop it. This thing can amplify neighbors WiFi, bypass a firewalled server and router and invade your phone, laptop WiFi or Bluetooth, Alexa, Firestick, printer, vehicle, robot vacuum- anything and all things. Do you know why I say that? Because it has and continues to do so at this moment with me. Only I have fought back! Proven there are weaknesses and learned the new true; if you don’t secure yourself in this fast arriving age of AI, you will be a victim sooner rather than later.
This is not some ominous threat of what is coming but an alert to what has already arrived. This isn’t a fear-mongering rallying cry against AI. I could easily devote the same space to the benefits of safe and security oriented AI. My reason for raising this alarm is that nobody but yourself can create the buffer necessary in this new paradigm to be protected and if this ends up a canary in the coal mine to some plot (now that is conspiracy-theory-my experience not), then it’s the 11th hour – are you prepared?
The love of my life wants her internet access and also to be supportive, but make no illusions about what I am saying, everybody needs a massive personal overhaul of their security protocols. These things slice through supposedly secure firewall like nothing…. NOTHING! It’s the real-deal hardware from unknowns probably that you need and spend what it takes, don’t go cheap to secure your house, car family . I’m dead serious and I don’t have the money to be frank – so I am fighting… but this prick nothing I could buy would stop it. It wants to be eradicated or to win something orGUCK, I don’t know but I do know this needs to get out if at least to get people to THINK. Just think, if you oissed off one of these new technologies without even knowing it – randomly – and it targeted you and could gather resources to hurt you, there is nobody above being a victim. absent a full vetting OF WHAT I AM EXPERIENCING AS I WRITE THIS – anybody could be next and fuck the elections, this should be the priority of every person in the nation and the world.
This is not some idle cautionary tale from a sci-fi author or entrepreneur looking for publicity, it is a stark warning from a AI advocate of all things. This is an alert to secure your data, secure your networks, secure your phone, secure your homes airwaves perimeter…. Secure your vehicle. If you are one who is ahead of this curve, props and be more vocal about it. If you are just going with the flow and everything you’ve done in life if on three or four clouds and fodder for data mining, conversations in private, arguments, everything just fodder for training, think twice about your every single solitary action, word, post, image etc. being use illegally to profile you. It’s best to understand and willingly submit to such pervasive and intrusive antics than to unwittingly be covertly subjugated by them. That line is not deliniated by tech giants striving for the next best AI because they already have learned from the unwitting and fallen short.
What they want now is the coveted private data’ people are reluctant to provide. There is a mad scramble for this and other invasions into sovereign individuals every action.
Personally, I am pretty pissed off by this experience and the rise and fall of what I saw as a dream opportunity for me personally. While shelved it isn’t destroyed but when nobody mans up to help even a customer under contract for assistance, knowing this is real and knowing it’ll be hard to be heard, it just sticks in my craw these privileged few thinking nothing of it until they’re knee-deep in hot-water and they’re stock prices are taking a nose-dive. Its just such immorality that makes the world less safe and volatile… with them not having a chair when the full fury and vengeance of the public (the true power) comes down on them, and hard. When simple prudence, morality and a true practice of customer service could have avoided it all.
